Born in Indore and currently living in Pune, Mayank Barjatya has been a passionate pioneer in the field of building biology and human energetics. With an educational and professional background that combines the structure of architecture with the scientific and esoteric aspects of bioenergetics, Mayank has a unique profile that has enabled a holistic approach to divine architecture.
Mayank’s educational profile includes an Architecture degree B.Arch. Pune University 1995, He initiated his architectural office under the name of “Design Instinct” in his home town Indore specifically designing bungalows from 1996 to 1998. His teaching skill & learning got developed during his training as faculty under Dr. Prof. G V Kulkarni in Indore as lecturer & head of CAD & Photography lab in IPS Academy School of Architecture Indore from 2nd Feb 1998 till 17th January 2000.
Mayank’s passion on healthy buildings took him to Europe. With Er. Wolfgang Priggen at BZS Burg-Steinfurt near Munster, Germany he studied Building Biology from Aug 2002 to July 2003. This was further augmented with a certification in Bioenergetics from Acmos-Paris in association with the Institute of Complementary Medicine of Great Britain in Oct 11, 2003. Back in India, he completed Masters Msc. in Ecology and Environment from New Delhi 9th Jan 2007.
Mayank has been working with the traditional Indian architectural science of Vastu Shilpa Shastra since 1997 while practicing architecture. In 2000, Mayank started, Vastuworld, in the pursuit of furthering academic, research, and professional excellence in the field of Vastu. Mayank’s work involves design consulting on contemporary architecture and Vastu Shastra for residential and professional spaces. He also teaches young architects and Vastu enthusiasts on his bespoke models of energy rectification.
Mayank has delivered a paper at IIT-Delhi on 10-11th Feb 2006 on scientific validation of ancient medical system, where audience were top doctors, professors and scientist from all over the country, IIT’s, AIIMS and other hospitals. He was invited in 2004 to participate in energy medicine congress in Heidelberg-Germany, In September 2013, Mayank presented his research paper on Earth Communication at Kerpic’13 – New Generation Earthen Architecture: Learning from Heritage, an International Conference, Istanbul Aydin University, Turkey. Mayank is instrumental in getting the Gold Lecher Antenna to India & in year 2014 he was the first Indian to get a teaching certificate on Radiesthesia & Geo-biology from Argo Germany.
2016 has been a year of adventure; Mayank & Vastuworld was selected by Vastu Ship Consultancy under Architect B.V. Doshi Ahmedabad to participate as a Vastu expert for Amaravati-Capitol Complex Design. Mayank presented among the Jury at Vijayawada.
2017 bring in the spiritual part of Mayank’s work where he designed 48 infinity energy cards based on science of Jainism following Hebrew philosophy. Mayank’s Book on Sacred Geometry of Bhaktamar Stotra is published in Hind (48 Anant Urja) and English (48 Infinity Energy) in year 2019 documenting, Role of Yantra (symbols, sacred geometry) with Mantra (sound vibrations) & Tantra (Bio-energies).
2020 Mayank has been awarded an achievement award at Mumbai by Nay Padam Sagarji Maharaj Saab on his research on Science of Bhaktamar Strotra.
21st Nov 2021 Mayank’s research on Bhaktamar Stotra was validated by creating a course at Kund Kund Gyanpeeth a research center in Jainism, under the association of Shri Digambar Jain Udasin Ashram Trust.
Energy Architect | Building Biologist
Year 2022 has been Jain Architecture redefining Year for Mayank, he has now been instrumental as Principal Architect and Planner for Anand Tirth, Guniyaji Redevelopment, Digambar Jain Girnarji, Shrut Bhavan Research Institute.
The Amalgamation of Building Biology and Vedic Vastu Shilpa Shastra in specifically Geobiology and Geopathy has been pioneering research by Mayank and has taken him to present his concept at G-20 Bali Indonesia along with team of natural architects & builders Juan and Anneke. He has been also awarded the project to do geobiology study of 44 Hectares of experimental community project NUANU located at Nyanyi Beach at Tabanen Bali.
On Research & Academic front, Mayank is Heading Jain Research team in Pune with Shrut Bhavan. Fellow member of Jain Academy of Scholars. Academic Advisor at Post Graduate courses at MIT School of Architecture, Life Member of Vigyan Bharti (VIBHA) propagating Indian Sciences.
Mayank has been a part of academic committees and architecture panels on key initiatives like the Big 5 India conference based on the Smart City, the Bhartiya Vigyan Sammelan & Expo and World Congress on Vedic Science in Jan 2018 at Pune. Mayank has also been conferred with the Good Karma Award for Energy Architecture from the Times of India Group in Year 2019.
Mayank inhouse teaching experience at Prithwe Institute is more than 20 years, he was also visiting faculty in CEPT Ahmedabad for 2 years and currently is busy as visiting faculty for MIT ADT University’s School of Vedic Sciences & School of Architecture.

Mayank has been developing his own model of building biology called Naduhl. It encompasses a wide range of original work that he has developed over the years as part of research and practical implementation. Naduhl finds the perfect balance between the scientific and esoteric aspects of designing living and working spaces while focusing on their impact on human energetics. Mayank is currently working on launching a professional apprenticeship and certification program on Naduhl. This initiative brings together the different worlds Mayank’s work spans, including the Prithwe Earthing Center that he designed on a sylvan campus near Pune. Naduhl is just another step in Mayank’s lifelong mission to enable the conversion of bland buildings to spaces with souls.
